Handwritten Postcard Method
The Postcard Method is one of the MOST effective Marketing Methods out there. It WILL work for you if you follow the exact Steps Below.
1. Go to your Local Post Office and Purchase 100 Pre-Postage Postcards or Go to your Local Staples or Copy Supply store and get Cardstock Paper and cut them into Fourths and then go to your local Post Office and Purchase the $.28 Cent Postcard Stamps. Get Your Postcard Leads through HBBLeads.com
2. Your Postcards MUST Be Handwritten!!! It does not matter if you do not have perfect writting as long as it is legible. The reason this method is as effective as it is, is because the cards are handwritten so the person receiving the card feels like it is more personal and not being sent out to the masses and because of the wording on the card. If you are doing the Postcard Method DO NOT skip this step it will mean the difference between getting 1 response and getting 50 responses.
3. You Do not want to put your return address on these Postcards. On the Front just write the person's name and physical address and then on the back follow the picture below.
4. I would suggest putting 5 Postcards in the mailbox at a time or per day. This will give you a steady stream of calls coming in each day. If you put all 100 postcards in your mailbox at once your phone will be ringing off the hook and could overwhelm you. You want to be talking to people everyday so just stick a few in your mailbox each day and you will see results right away.
5. Start off using the script I have on this site. Once you get through your first couple calls you will have a better idea of what you want your script to be. Just keep tweeking the script until it fits you and your personality. The one thing I love most about these postcard leads is everyday you have people to talk to and it is no biggie if the conversation does not go perfect because there are so many people that are calling you.
Tip: In this example he has given a toll free number. I have used this postcard method for years successfully and have never used a toll free number. Always just used my regular home phone number. You do not need a toll free number.
